Failing and running into walls is the only way to gain the clarity we need in order to get where we want to go. As Ryan Holiday would say, The Obstacle is The Way.
Failing fast I a great way to get immediate feedback on what not to do or give you reassurance if something you are currently doing can be done more efficiently. I have had a ton of Ah-Ha moments this last year when it has come to SEO, online business, and social media but none of them would have happened if I did not start.
Starting is a huge step but I would say the biggest mental hurdle is giving up the idea of doing things right your first go around. While you can do everything in your power to avoid silly mistakes by listening *fully* to what the people ahead of us have to say you will still end up making some mistakes along the way or run into some kind of roadblock.
My biggest one was being too cheap in the beginning and not getting the tools necessary for the job, and not knowing that you have to index your article as you go, Google does not do it for you.
After looking at it, my start-up costs would be around $1,000.
$300 for WordPress
$400 for LLC
and the remaining $300 for tools like Ahrefs, Link Whisper, Elementor, or other plugins that I find useful along the way of making something more customizable.
The fast you fail the easier it is for you to course correct and identify the angle you need to take in order to do things properly. Over time, something clicks almost on all fronts.
It was an amazing feeling to have when things started to make a bit more sense and the processes began to flow much easier but because it took time and experience to get there, the journey can be a bit ugly. Having to go back and correct past mistakes I made early on in this journey was a time-consuming thing but as soon as you have a system in place, you just make an SOP and pay someone to do exactly what you would be doing.
You can read all you want about how to do things with online business but actually doing it and reading about it are two completely different things.
Have the courage to commit. It may not be easy, and the first idea may not be the most sound, but the knowledge you learn along the way is invaluable and can only be gained by doing.
Have a good day.
